Hey there!

Meet Bret.

From large scale multidiscipline performance barns and breeders to small breeders and trainers to famous (and infamous) cattle ranches across the Americas—I have observed and applied methods and practices both good and bad at a rare scope. Within that scope I have learned to provide for myself and my family while remaining morally culpable to my art and my horses.

I offer a deep understanding of how and why a Horseman advances a horse through daily practice as well as an honest interpretation of the failures of Horseman in general and my own personal failures as a Horseman.

“If in any way my work helps a fellow Horseman see the work of training horses in a different light, I feel that I have suceeded.”
